Writers I Am Not

IS JONATHAN CLEMENTS: a) a children's book author; b) a science-fiction writer; c) a financial writer; or d) the author of erotic books? The answer is, all of the above--but we aren't all the same Jonathan Clements (though it seems we all hail from the U.K.).

Science-fiction writing Clements is a prolific author who has penned a slew of fiction and nonfiction books, including histories of Mao Zedong, Marco Polo and the Vikings. You can learn more at his Web site, Murmasa Industries. At the site, you will also find a section devoted to imposters, a title I purloined for this section of my Web site.

Clements the children's book author put out a raft of books in the 1970s and 1980s. As a school boy in England, I even remember reading one of these books, entitled Crazy But True.

Finally, erotic Clements wrote such books as Keep it Kinky, Sock It to Me, Alice and Dearest Mummy, I've Been Ravaged (no, I am not making this up). As best I can tell, these books appeared in the late 1960s and early 1970s. If you have any information on either kiddie-book Clements or erotic Clements, drop me an email. For reasons I find hard to explain, I'm intensely curious about these folks.
